Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association (VEBA) Trust Fund

While the LMC Trust supports Programs broadly intended to improve the workplace, the VEBA Trust supports several employee benefits.

To use the words of the VEBA Trust Agreement, in particular, the VEBA Trust is “to provide financial and other support for the following Programs”:
(i) The UAW-Ford Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program
(ii) The UAW-Ford Tuition Assistance Program
(iii) The UAW-Ford ESSP - Wellbeing & Fitness Center Program
(iv) Any other appropriate Programs to which Ford and
the UAW agree.

The VEBA Programs are “employee benefit plans” under the law, and thus are governed by specific “Plan Documents,” copies of which you should have received in the mail. If you did not receive them, please call 313-392-7000.

Details about each program are on the following pages, however more information is available at www.uawford.org.

This booklet summarizes certain Joint Trusts’ activities and benefits. To the extent of any conflict between this booklet and any Plan or Trust document, the Plan or Trust document would control. Furthermore, nothing in this booklet, in any way, changes the terms of the Collective
Bargaining Agreement between Ford and the UAW.
